A number of green development and green energy projects are presently under way in Punjab, according to Marriyum Aurangzeb, the senior minister there.
When discussing Pakistan’s first Climate Change Action Plan and Punjab Climate Change Policy, she made this statement during a meeting in Lahore.
She stated that 100 billion rupees worth of development projects are being introduced for the purpose of improving and protecting the environment, and that another project using solar panels is being started to encourage the use of alternative energy sources.
The province, according to her, is likewise conducting a successful crackdown on cars that spew smoke.
