Due to a lack of proof, the founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ali Amin Gandapur were exonerated in a long march vandalism case by a District Session Court in Islamabad.

A three-page, comprehensive ruling on the case was issued by Judicial Magistrate Shahzad Khan.

According to the court’s ruling, the prosecution’s case was weak and proof was required to present a compelling argument.

Asad Umar’s acquittal in the Long March vandalism case is a significant milestone for PTI founder Ali Amin Gandapur and other accused in this case, the court ruling stated.

The court ruled that as there is no concrete proof of the culpability of PTI founder Ali Amin Gandapur and others, they should be punished similarly to Asad Umar in the absence of facts.

The phone data records of Ali Amin Gandapur, the founder of the PTI, and others were also cited in the decision as being unavailable.
