Fatima Zahra, a female boxer from Pakistan, has advanced to the quarterfinals of the women’s 60 kg boxing tournament at the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Scotland thanks to a strong performance.

In the first round of the competition, Fatima overcame Real Ebuoha, a boxer from Lesotho. With a string of devastating blows, the Pakistani fighter controlled the fight from the start.

The referee interrupted the battle before it was supposed to end and pronounced the Pakistani boxer the winner due to Fatima’s obvious advantage and persistent pressure.

With her triumph, Fatima Zahra advanced to the quarterfinals, where she will take on Jordan Wilson of New Zealand.

As Fatima continues her quest for a spot on the podium, the forthcoming fight is seen as a critical match for Pakistan’s medal ambitions at the Commonwealth Games.
