Muslims all throughout the world fast from sunrise to sunset, with the length of the fast varying from 12 to 17 hours, depending on where they are in the world.
Earlier, a number of news outlets claimed that Islamic nations will follow the crescent during Ramadan on March 10
The International Astronomical Centre predicts that on the day of the central conjunction, which is slated for 9am GMT, the moon will emerge after sunset in most Islamic nations. For this reason, many countries anticipate that March 11 will mark the beginning of Ramadan.
In spite of this, there is minimal likelihood of seeing the crescent on March 10 according to scientific standards for crescent visibility.
