Owing to strong winds, a fire that broke out in the forests around the villages of Kadhar and Khokar Madwal destroyed several acres’ worth of trees.
After arriving at the scene, rescue crews and locals got to work extinguishing the fire. The residential areas are being affected by the raging fire.

About 15 to 20 acres of land spread across several locations were consumed by a forest fire that started on Sunday near the village of Bagar Sharif in Tehsil Kahuta, Rawalpindi.
When they heard about the notice, rescue officials immediately moved to limit the fire by mobilizing resources. Almost seven fire fighters and fire beaters were involved in the firefighting effort when the rescue squads quickly arrived at the scene.
Rescue workers were working hard to contain the fire and stop it from spreading despite the difficulties.
