Four permanent judges of Peshawar High Court sworn in

Four judges took oath as permanent judges of the Peshawar High Court (PHC) on Monday.

The oath taking event was held at PHC where Chief Justice SM Atiique Shah delivered oath to the judges.

Among the judges who took oath were Justice Farah Jamshed, Justice Sabitullah, Justice Inam Khan and Justice Aurangzeb Khan. Following the event, the four of them were formally installed as permanent judges of the supreme court.

Other justices and judicial officers of the high court and a big number of lawyers attended the occasion. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Advocate General Shah Faisal Utmankhail and Additional Attorney General Sanaullah were also present.

The oath-taking ceremony was attended by Peshawar High Court Bar President Aminur Rehman Yousafzai, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Bar Council members and renowned lawyers.
