A new KISWA was installed at the Kaaba at the yearly ceremony of altering Ghilaf-E-Kaaba, or KISWA, which took place at Masjid Al-Haram in Makkah on the first day of the Islamic New Year.
At the Masjid Al-Haram in Makkah, a team of 159 craftsmen from the King Abdulaziz Complex for Holy Kaaba KISWA completed the replacement to guarantee that everything was completed to perfection.
There are four distinct panels plus a door curtain that make up the 1,350-kilogram, 14-meter-tall KISWA.
In total, 1,000 kg of silk, 100 kg of silver, and 120 kg of gold are utilized to make the KISWA.
