He restated the government’s commitment to encouraging both domestic and international investment in the minerals and gas industry.

He also outlined the initiatives put in place to address cyclical debt in a sustainable manner.

The timetable states that throughout the Holy Month, the gas supply will be shut off from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and from 10 p.m. to 3 a.m.

According to the SSGC, there will be a steady supply of gas available during Sehr-o-Iftar. Pakistan’s gas reserves are reported by the firm to be decreasing by 8 to 10 percent annually.

The Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) made a concerning revelation, estimating that Pakistan’s gas reserves will probably be cut in half by 2027.

According to the SSGC, natural gas supplies are quickly running out as gas use is rising. The corporation emphasized that switching from local gas to RLNG was necessary.
