In Bannu, prominent people and tribal elders convened a large peace jirga.
In the continuing conflict with Fitna al-Khawarij, the participants reaffirmed their dedication to and support for the Pakistan Army.
They generously honored the Security Forces’ sacrifices made in order to bring peace back.
The grand jirga was also attended by Major General Zulfiqar Ali Bhatti, General Officer Commanding Kohat.
The elders in the community expressed their gratitude to the Pakistan Army for its efforts to advance girls’ education in particular and health.
