IHC to hear appeal against PTI’s long march today
ISLAMABAD: A plea has been filed in the Islamabad High Court (IHC) against the PTI’s protest and long march on September 27.
The petition has been listed for hearing by the Registrar of the Islamabad High Court. The petition of applicant Waqas Ahmed will be heard by Chief Justice Sarfraz Dogar on Tuesday (today).
Petition demands orders for all highways in Islamabad to be opened on September 27 and government offices not to be used for political purposes.
The case also demands declaration about the political use of the office of Chief Minister.
Addressing party workers at Tando Jam toll plaza in Sindh, Afridi said a historic march would be held on September 27.
He expressed gratitude to the workers for their assistance and claimed that he would reach Karachi despite the challenges in his path.
