For the next 24 hours, the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast mostly dry weather for much of the nation, with high temperatures in the south.
Nonetheless, isolated locations in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir, and the nearby mountainous regions are predicted to experience light rain, windstorms, or thunderstorms.
The synoptic situation indicated that a westerly wave with a shallow trough was hitting the country’s top regions and was expected to last for the next 36 hours.
The last 24 hours saw mostly dry weather across the nation, with temperatures rising in the south. However, isolated incidents of rain, wind, and thunderstorms were reported in the Pothohar region, Gilgit-Baltistan, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Kashmir.
With temperatures reaching as high as 40 degrees Celsius on Thursday, Shaheed Benazirabad continued to be the hottest spot in the nation.
