In NYC, Naqvi meets with a Chinese counterpart.

Mohsin Naqvi, the federal interior minister, paid a detailed visit to his Chinese counterpart at the People’s Republic of China’s UN Mission Office in New York, where they spoke about security concerns and relations between Pakistan and China.

The Chinese Interior Minister expressed gratitude for the formation of SPU in Islamabad to protect foreigners, particularly Chinese nationals, and pledged complete cooperation with SPU’s training program and other initiatives.

According to the Chinese interior minister, China and Pakistan are buddies year-round.

Naqvi provided updates on the unfortunate tragedy that happened at the Dasu Power Project and mentioned that Pakistani authorities have been actively and thoroughly investigating the situation.

Mohsin Naqvi, the interior minister, accepted the invitation from his Chinese counterpart to attend the September Global Security Forum in China.

“We are all proud of our friendship with China,” Naqvi stated. The partnership between China and Pakistan serves as an example to the rest of the globe. For the safety of Chinese nationals, foolproof preparations have been made.
