In order to conduct an inquiry, the police gave their approval to bring Anmol Pinky to Lahore.
Police have got permission to take drug dealer Anmol alias Pinky to Lahore for investigation into many criminal cases brought against her.
Police sources said officials had sought the court and Home Department’s consent for her transfer. Iqbal Town, Kot Lakhpat, Wahdat Colony, Liaqatabad and Gujarpura police stations in Lahore have at least five complaints lodged against Anmol Pinky.
Investigation police are likely to reach Karachi soon in connection with the matter. The Lahore police will approach a local court in Karachi to obtain authorisation to transfer Anmol Pinky to Lahore and formally add her to the cases’ investigation.
Sources added that Anmol Pinky has been named in cases launched in Lahore but no arrest has been made in any of them so yet.
Further legal action is planned in the next several days.
