After being transported from Sanghar to an animal shelter in Karachi, the injured camel was undergoing rehabilitation, and work was almost finished on an iron support device that would enable the animal to stand on three legs.
A local wadera in Shangar is said to have hacked off the legs of the injured camel. The steel support system for the animal was built by the Department of Livestock and robotic prosthesis producer Bionics.
Camie the camel, with the assistance of a supporting frame, will be able to walk for the next two months, according to a robotics company called Bionics.
The camel will receive further care to help it recuperate once it has healed.
In September, the management of the robotics company Bionics plans to implant artificial limbs composed of fiber, steel, and aircraft aluminum.
Managers at the robotics business Bionics stated that the iron frame will be taken out of the calf when the prosthetic limbs are implanted.
