Lieutenant General Inam Haider, the chairman of the National Disaster Management Committee, stated that the NDMA was designed with current technology and is prepared to handle any emergency.
Speaking at a National Resilience Day ceremony in Islamabad, Lt. Gen. Inam Haider stated that the organization is prepared for any unexpected catastrophe or natural calamity.
He remarked, “We are not only expressing our solidarity with the earthquake victims, but we are also making effective efforts to address similar disasters in the future.”
According to him, proactive and prompt preparation is another possibility that the National Event Operation Center offers in advance of any event.
