With the advent of a new feature, Instagram users no longer need to utilize a separate app for photo editing—text can now be added to photographs directly from the post editor on Meta’s social media platform.

With our latest fonts, you can now incorporate text into your photos and carousels, as well as apply stickers to layer images. This offers you the artistic freedom to experiment with new, more engaging narratives with images and carousels and make your content stand out,” noted Instagram.

It can also be applied to one shot and layered over another using the post editor. Touching the layered photo will allow users to resize it into a rectangle, star, square, or circle. Uploading photos as stickers requires users to tap the gallery button in the top-right corner.

In an ongoing effort to include new features influenced by other social media platforms, Instagram had earlier declared that posts including carousels may now only contain a maximum of 20 photos or videos.

“Upgrade your arsenal of photos. Instagram said, “A carousel can now hold up to 20 images or videos.”

Music uploading to Instagram profiles is now possible thanks to a recent feature announcement. The feature that allows users to post their favorite music to their bio section of their profiles has been made public by Instagram. Anyone can change or remove the song as they choose.
