Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, Speaker of the Iranian Parliament, has asserted that adversaries seek to undermine Iran’s unity to compel its capitulation.
In a national address, he asserted that the adversary is implementing a novel approach of naval blockade, economic coercion, and media manipulation to undermine the nation.
He stated that the aim is to undermine national unity and coerce Iran into submission, noting that the prospect of military assault, including terrorist attacks, cannot be dismissed.
Ghalibaf additionally stated that this methodology is integral to a comprehensive strategy aimed at undermining Iranian society from within.
He stated that, although economic difficulties, Iranians continue to uphold their independence, dignity, faith, and convictions.
The speaker said that the nation recognises the delicacy of the present circumstances and must remain resolute against an adversary that erroneously believes it can subvert Iranian civilisation.
