Karachi weather turns lovely, mild shower offers relief
Karachi: Light rain in portions of Karachi on Tuesday morning provided more reprieve from the heat and humidity, resulting in nice weather across the city.
Intermittent drizzle and light rain was reported from Shahrah-e-Faisal, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Tariq Road, Bahadurabad, Saddar and Kharadar. The rain brought down temperatures and was accompanied by pleasant winds that made things more comfortable for inhabitants.
Light showers were also witnessed in Shahrah-e-Pakistan, Liaquatabad, Azizabad and several sections of FB Area, where the rain relieved the prolonged sweltering conditions.
The better weather saw many inhabitants heading out, with more pedestrian activity and traffic in different parts of the city as people took advantage of the lower temperatures.
The drizzle comes at a time when Karachi is experiencing variable weather patterns and is a welcome relief after days of sweltering and humid temperatures.
