The military’s propaganda wing said, “On the night of May 30/31, 2024, security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in the area of Hassan Khel, Peshawar District, on the reported presence of terrorists.”
According to the ISPR, “Terrorist Ahmedey alias Koochi and terrorist ringleader Ayaz alias Muhammad were sent to hell as a result of the operation, while two other terrorists were injured.” Pakistani army personnel successfully engaged the terrorists’ location during the operation.
The terrorists who were slain persisted in carrying out multiple acts of terrorism that targeted security personnel and killed innocent bystanders. It added that the operation was well-received by the villagers, and that weapons, ammo, and explosives were also retrieved from the terrorists who were killed.
“As the Pakistani security forces are committed to eliminating the threat of terrorism from the nation, sanitization of the area is being carried out to eliminate any other terrorist found in the area,” the statement continued.
