During the month of Rabi ul Awal and Eid Milad-ul-Nabi (P.B.U.H), the Chief Minister of Punjab, Maryam Nawaz Sharif, headed a meeting to discuss the state of law and order in the province.

In addition to approving a request to enhance the number of provincial border posts, the Chief Minister issued an order calling for the provision of bulletproof jackets and armored personnel carriers to law enforcement officers.

According to Maryam Nawaz, the battle to eliminate illegal firearms should be accelerated even further.

In this regard, she stated that the government is responsible for ensuring the safety of the lives and properties of the general population, and that every conceivable measure will be taken to ensure this.
