Makhdoom Tahir Rashid has been commended by President Asif Ali Zardari for his victory in the NA-171 Rahimyar Khan by-election.
In an official statement, the President expressed the hope that Makhdoom Tahir Rashid will fulfil the aspirations of his constituents by attending to their problems and carrying out public welfare work.
In the National Assembly, he continued, Tahir Rashid would speak for the people of Rahim Yar Khan in its entirety.
The President expressed gratitude to the voters of the constituency for Makhdoom Tahir Rashid’s election.
