In referring to her opponent’s political party’s incapacity to defeat Maryam Nawaz in administration, Punjab Information Minister Azma Bukhari said that Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz was irritating Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI).

In reaction to Barrister Saif’s remarks, the Information Advisor for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, she stated that Maryam Nawaz was using the police to exact political revenge in order to feed her ego and violate fundamental human rights.

Azma Bukhari said that if the PTI wanted to take on Maryam Nawaz, it should compete in governance rather than discussion. Additionally, the minister of Punjabi information issued a warning regarding the May 9 incident, claiming that people were hiding under political garb.

According to her, PTI was preparing a repeat of the events on May 9 and is neither ashamed of its actions nor willing to own up to its faults.

The minister of information further emphasized that Maryam Nawaz is not to blame for PTI’s non-political blunders; PTI is the group that carried out the May 9 coup.

Maryam Nawaz defied the “Imrani dictatorship” with bravery and valor, according to Azma Bukhari, and she never voiced complaints about the amenities offered in prison.

She was alluding to Imran Khan’s worries about inadequate facilities being provided to him in prison and the political victimization of Maryam Nawaz during his administration.

Azma objected to their destruction of military installations and the PTI martyrs’ memorial.

She urged PTI to stop hiding behind the constitution, the woman card, and human rights to justify its crimes.
