Even though Miftah Ismail stated in an exclusive interview that Nawaz Sharif is his favourite person, they are no longer able to work together politically.
Ismail accused the administration of being insensitive to the suffering of the people when he criticised the most recent budget. He emphasised the disparities between the government’s assertion that the country is going through hard circumstances and its unrestrained increase in spending.
Ismail was critical of the actions of the current administration once more, pointing out that the wellbeing of the populace is not given priority. He made it apparent that his disagreement with the party was motivated by ideals rather than self-interest and insisted that real change required the public good to take precedence over political gamesmanship.

In response, the previous finance minister predicted that millions more people will become impoverished and voiced concerns about the budget’s potential to worsen inflation and poverty.
For taxing shops among other things, Ismail said he was ousted from his position as finance minister.
When speaking about political resentment, Mifah Ismail cited cases in which opposition leaders like as Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, Ahsan Iqbal, and Rana Sanaullah were imprisoned. Concerning the mishandling of drug accusations against Rana Sanaullah, he demanded an end to these kinds of actions in the political arena.
