Today, while presiding over a meeting in Islamabad, he assigned this special responsibility to the FIA and formed special squads to combat energy and gas theft. He also ordered legal action against anyone implicated in electricity and gas theft.

Mohsin Naqvi also ordered judicial action against individuals implicated in human trafficking. He also directed a tight knot around people involved in the “Hundi” and “Hawala” businesses.
Meanwhile, in a message posted on social media site X, the Interior Minister stated that there will be no prejudice during the electricity and gas theft campaign and that all those involved will face prison time.
He stated that these proactive actions aim to reduce widespread theft of basic utilities while also assuring fair distribution and access for all individuals.
