The MQM-P, who had previously refused to accept Kamran Tessori’s replacement, has now reportedly indicated receptivity to the development, according to anonymous sources.
Based on insider information, Barrister Farogh Naseem has emerged as a formidable contender to take Kamran Tessori’s spot in the nomination.
The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), which is currently in power in Sindh, has called for Tessori’s resignation, citing him as having “created a political divide and further widening the gap between urban and rural areas of the province.”
Politics and the divide between urban and rural communities have not been bridged by Tessori, according to PPP Sindh General Secretary Senator Waqar Mehdi.
