The Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) has pulled out its candidate in the Azad Jammu and Kashmir elections in favour of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N).

Talking to the media, MQM-P spokesperson Farooq Sattar said the party had submitted its demands for constitutional revisions and reinstatement of the Sindh governorship to PML-N leadership.

Sattar added that the office of governor of Sindh was part of the political mandate of MQM-P and should be restored to the party.

He said he was hopeful the PML-N and MQM-P combination will win the next elections of Azad Kashmir.
