Murree: Section 144 imposed ahead of projected Eidul Azha tourist inflow
Murree district government has made special plans for traffic and law and order on the occasion of Eidul Azha vacations when a huge number of tourists from all over the nation are expected to visit the hill station.
The administration said Section 144 has been implemented in the hill station during Eid vacations to guarantee smooth flow of traffic and to avert any untoward incident. Facilitation facilities have also been constructed at various places to guide and help travellers.
Authorities said more than 200 traffic wardens will be deployed across the city to help keep traffic flowing amid an expected flood of visitors.
Furthermore, access of bachelor travellers on Mall Road has been prohibited to promote a safer and more pleasant environment for families visiting the renowned tourist site.
