The Chairman People’s Party spokesman, Murtaza Wahab, denied the JUI senator’s claim, claiming that during Bilawal Bhutto’s meeting with the JUI chairman, Maulana Fazlur Rehman brought up the constitutional court.

Wahab stated that it is incorrect to associate PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto with the JUI president after the latter had three meetings with the former.

The representative for Bilawal stated, “He saw the points of the proposed constitutional amendment, not the draft.”

Maulana Fazlur Rehman, according to Murtaza Wahab, has agreed with the PPP’s position about the constitutional court. “Consensus over the constitutional court exists among all political parties, including the JUI,” he declared.
Similar to the 1973 constitution, the PPP seeks agreement on law  the 18th Amendment,” Wahab said.
