NA speaker Ayaz Sadiq to attend Ayatollah Khamenei’s burial in Tehran
Speaker of the National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq will attend the funeral of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei in Tehran on July 2.
Sources revealed that the Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf has extended a special invitation to Sardar Ayaz Sadiq to attend the burial rituals and National Assembly Secretariat has also received an official invitation letter.
Ayatollah Khamenei’s funeral prayer is set for July 3 and high-level delegations from other countries will attend, sources told The Associated Press.
Pakistan will be represented at the memorial service by Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq who would convey the country’s participation in the big occasion.
