Technology, commercial, and investment opportunities were discussed during the meeting between Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) President Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif and People’s Republic of China Ambassador Jiang Zedong.
At this event, Nawaz Sharif stated that we are proud of our relationship with China and that it is our most dependable ally. He stated that Maryam Nawaz Sharif is in charge of numerous welfare initiatives for Punjabi citizens and that she would appreciate Chinese assistance with infrastructure and technology.
We are always prepared to welcome our Chinese friends in Punjab, according to Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, who further stated that we can work with China to achieve economic marvels.

China likewise cherishes its friendship with Pakistan, the Chinese ambassador said, adding that the PML-N governments have greatly advanced this friendship. In the enhanced vision of CPEC, which involves the creation of Special Economic Zones, he continued, he would welcome Punjab’s inclusion. According to him, Punjab’s agriculture sector is looking for Chinese investment. With the help of China, he said, high-yielding hybrid rapeseed is being grown on 5 lakh acres in Punjab; they now wish to treble this area. He also praised the Chief Minister’s efforts, such as the Kisan Card and the Tractor Scheme. He additionally stated that “1000 farmers of Pakistan will be trained in modern farming techniques by Chinese experts.”. Utilising Chinese experience in these domains would be crucial, the Chief Minister stated, emphasising the need for efficient use of water and machines in agriculture.
