No overseas travel without full, certified documents: Naqvi.

Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has instructed to take stern action against the travellers trying to fly abroad on the basis of phoney credentials. He stressed that passengers with incomplete or un-verified documents must not be permitted to travel at any cost.

During his visit to Jinnah International Airport, Mohsin Naqvi inspected the process of immigration at the counters.

The interior minister also visited passengers travelling abroad and asked them about their experience of the immigration process.

The immigration system was down when we visited. Naqvi at once rang up the concerned authorities and instructed them to rectify the system issue quickly.

He also ordered staff to make sure there is an alternative in place if the immigration system goes down.Under no circumstances should the immigration procedure be stopped, the interior minister stated, stressing the need for continuous processing of passengers.

Naqvi also said that no one should be allowed to travel with inadequate or unconfirmed documentation.
