Judge Arshad Javed of the ATC heard cases involving attacks on PML-N offices, the burning of three police vans at Sherpao Bridge on May 9, 2018, and the lighting of a container on fire at Kalma Chowk.
PTI leaders Dr. Yasmeen Rashid, Senator Ijaz Chaudhry, Umar Sarfaraz Cheema, Mian Mehmood ur Rasheed, and others were produced by the police and brought before the court.
The next hearing on the matter will see the filing of charges against the accused, the court declared.
Copies of the chargesheet have already been sent to each accused by the court. Following the indictment of the accused in three cases, the trial will legally start.
The court postponed the case’s next hearing until April 8.
