On Defense Day, the PAF assumes guard duty at Mazar-e-Quaid.

On Defense Day, a well-groomed Pakistan Air Force (PAF) personnel took over guard responsibilities at a ceremonial guard-changing ceremony at Mazar-e-Quaid in Karachi.

Chief attendees at the event were Air Vise Marshal Hassan Faisal and Air Officer Commanding Pakistan Air Force Academy Asghar Khan.

At Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah’s mausoleum, a group of 72 PAF cadets—64 male and 8 female—participated in the ceremonial procession and displayed discipline.

As part of the Defense Day celebrations, the cadets guarded the mausoleum and honored the Father of the Nation with an amazing parade.

In addition to expressing reverence for Quaid-e-Azam, the guard-changing ceremony reaffirmed the nation’s spirit and dedication to its defense.

Additionally, Air Vise Marshal Hassan Faisal went to the mausoleum, paid his condolences, and placed a floral wreath at the grave.

Speaking at the event, he claimed that by successfully fending off Indian attack last year, the Pakistan Air Force had once again proven its defense capability.

He claimed that the PAF had continuously met the country’s expectations and remained dedicated to Pakistan’s security, whether during the 1965 war or the Markah-e-Haq.

According to Hassan Faisal, Pakistan’s airspace is protected by the PAF, and the nation’s sovereignty and dignity would not be compromised.

He reiterated the PAF’s commitment to protecting Pakistan’s airspace, sovereignty, and national security going forward.
