With SIFC’s assistance, Pakistan is determined to quickly develop five new China-Pakistan Economic Corridors.

The Innovation, Livelihood, Green Energy, Regional Development, and Employment Creation Corridors are the five new Economic Corridors.

Ahsan Iqbal, the federal minister for planning, development, and special initiatives, stated that “these economic corridors are part of CPEC Phase II, focusing on development, livelihood, innovation, green energy, and regional connectivity.”

Relating to Pakistan’s “5Es framework,” he added that China and Pakistan have decided to start construction on these five routes.

Five key sectors are identified under the ‘5Es framework’ for economic recovery: exports, energy, environment and climate change, E-Pakistan, and equitable youth empowerment.

High-quality amenities and work possibilities are the goals of the ‘Livelihood Corridor’, which is one of the new CPEC initiatives.

The “innovation corridor,” on the other hand, will concentrate on developing young people’s IT abilities and introducing novel projects utilizing cutting-edge technology.
