Pakistan and Turkey To Increase The Volume Of Their Bilateral Trade Through Bilateral Political Consultations

During Pakistan-Turkey bilateral political discussions’ seventh session, which was held in Islamabad, an understanding to this effect was reached.

Both Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey, Nuh Yilmaz, and Foreign Secretary Muhammad Syrus Sajjad Qazi led their respective group.

All facets of Pakistan-Turkey bilateral cooperation were thoroughly examined by the two parties, including information technology, culture and tourism, energy, trade and investment, political relations, energy, security and defense, and consular matters.

There was also talk of Pakistan-Turkey cooperation in regional and multilateral fora. Other topics of common interest were explored, both regional and worldwide.

A ceasefire must happen quickly, as both parties reiterated their grave worries over Israel’s ongoing war in Gaza and the extermination of the Palestinian people.
