Pakistan open U18 Hockey Asia Cup beating China 3-0
Pakistan made a good start in the U18 Hockey Asia Cup with a 3-0 win against China in their opening encounter in Japan.
Pakistan got off to a flying start with two goals in the opening quarter. Muhammad Usman scored in the sixth minute to put Pakistan ahead and Adeel made it 2-0 five minutes later.
Both teams stiffened their defence with no goals scored in the second and third quarters.
Salman Yaseen completed a straightforward 3-0 win for Pakistan in the last quarter.
Pakistan will face their second game of the tournament against Malaysia on Sunday.
