The creation of an independent Palestinian state with Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital was advocated by Prime Minister Shebaz Sharif.
In his speech to the All Parties Conference on the situation in Palestine, the Prime Minister demanded that Israeli hostilities cease right now and that humanitarian aid be given to the Palestinian people.
