Pakistan’s load shedding gets worse when a 5,600 MW power deficit occurs.

The nation is experiencing massive load shedding in both urban and rural areas due to a 5,600 megawatt electrical shortage.

There is a 25,000 MW national need for power, but only 19,400 MW of that is being produced, according to Power Division sources.

Consequently, power outages have escalated to a maximum of eight hours in cities and ten hours in rural areas. Even longer periods of 12 to 14 hours without power are being endured by households in significant line-loss locations.
