According to the information provided, the Cricket Board (PCB) has declared that a group of 29 players will participate in a fitness camp in Kakul.
The camp, conducted in partnership with the Pakistan Army, is strategically tailored to train the players for the upcoming series and tournaments, which include the home T20I series against New Zealand, the away T20I series against Ireland and England, and the forthcoming ICC T20 World Cup in the USA and West Indies.
The camp is set to begin on March 26 and end on April 8. The players are expected to arrive at the camp later today.
PCB has formed a selection committee consisting of seven members, but it does not have a chairman.
The camp will prioritize team cohesion and strive to improve the players’ physical and emotional resilience, ensuring they are optimally prepared to overcome future obstacles.
Under the supervision of seasoned trainers and coaches, the players will engage in a thorough training program designed to enhance their physical fitness, agility, leadership skills, strategic thinking, and overall performance on the field.
