The operation in Arif Wala was headed by the director general of PFA. When the teams examined two water units, they discovered that they were involved in the market production of phoney bottled water.

According to the PFA, market-supplied non-food grade bottles contained drinking water that had been tainted. While lawsuits have been filed against their owners, both water units have been shut.

In another development, the Punjab Food Authority (PFA) in Multan confiscated a sizable amount of phoney beverages.

According to information, the Punjab Food Authority busted a company making phoney beverages under the name of a well-known Multan brand. Approximately 500 litres of harmful syrup, 300 litres of bogus beverages, and a loaded rickshaw were seized, according to PFA authorities.

An FIR was filed at the Mumtazabad police station against the proprietor of the beverage factory.
