The case was heard by Justices Sahibzada Asadullah and Ishtiaq Ibrahim.

Marwat requested the cases against him be withdrawn in his appeal, claiming that 23 FIRs had been filed in the province against him for political reasons.

As soon as FIRs are registered, you are visiting everywhere, said Justice Sahibzada Asadullah. “After Eid, we’re heading to Punjab to start the protest movement; there will probably be more cases there.” stated Sher Afzal Marwat.

Advocate General, Justice Ishtiaq Ibrahim asked, “What is the future of these cases?”

AG KP stated, “The province has 353 FIRs registered, and the provincial government has formed a committee to examine these cases.” AG went on, “The examination will determine which cases have been filed for political reasons.”

He said, “The committee will suggest cancelling the cases that were filed for political reasons.”

The court barred responsible authorities from arresting Sher Afzal Marwat and prolonged his temporary bail till May 22.
