It has been reported by sources that Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has temporarily halted its flight operations to Turkey.

It is anticipated that the September 28–September 13 suspension will continue until at least October 13.

According to authorities, non-payment difficulties pertaining to inventory and airport slots caused PIA, which runs four weekly flights from Islamabad and Lahore to Turkiye, to suspend operations. Consequently, there won’t be any flights to Turkiye during this time.

For PIA, which has been working hard to keep up normal operations in spite of financial difficulties, the suspension impacts a crucial international route. It is advisable for travellers who had reservations for flights to Turkiye to be informed about any updates and rescheduling possibilities.
