A meeting with the army chief is scheduled for the two days that the Saudi delegation is in Pakistan.

Premier Shehbaz Sharif and Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, Mohammad bin Salman, recently met in Makkah and came to an agreement to strengthen bilateral economic cooperation. This was the reason for the visit.

It is expected that the visit will help to establish a mutually beneficial business alliance between the two countries and would significantly enhance bilateral cooperation.

Pakistan is attempting to entice Saudi Arabia to spend billions of dollars under the auspices of the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC), a civil-military body that aims to remove bureaucratic roadblocks and other obstacles impeding foreign investment.

When PM Shehbaz and Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman recently visited the Kingdom, they decided to accelerate Pakistan’s first round of a $5 billion investment package.
