To attend the inauguration of Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian, the incoming president of Iran, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will travel to Tehran tomorrow.
The visit highlights both nations’ determination to improve bilateral relations and leadership involvement.
As a result of early elections, Masoud Pezeshkian was formally supported as the ninth president by Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei.
On Tuesday, in front of Parliament, the next president will take the oath of office.
