Political prisoner’ claim of PTI founding member convicted: Ahsan Iqbal
Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal said there should be no concern over the health of PTI founder Imran Khan as he is enjoying best service of physicians and treatment facilities in jail.
Ahsan Iqbal said that the government will not compromise on the health of PTI founder, adding that PTI founder is not a political prisoner but a convicted one.
“All necessary medical facilities are being provided to the PTI founder in prison and the best doctors are also available, nobody should be worried about the health of PTI founder,” Ahsan Iqbal stated.
He added no disregard is being shown toward the health of the PTI founder, he is in the same cell where he was imprisoned and all medical services are being supplied to him.
The federal minister remarked that the PTI founder is not a political prisoner but a convicted prisoner. The administration is taking all actions necessary about his health and there will be no compromise on this matter.
Suddenly, there is a surge in the discussion of politics of agitation but at this moment, the country needs economic stability instead of protests, Ahsan Iqbal stated.
“If a party tries to go for agitation, it is equivalent to support the enemy’s destructive agenda,” he stated. Pakistan needs to be economically strengthened rather than turning the whole country into a D-Chowk. He said Pakistan needed an economic long march at this time and said Pakistan Peoples Party was an ally of the government and was not going anywhere. “The PPP is with the government and shall continue to stay with the government.”
