President, PM pay homage to Havaldar Lalak Jan Shaheed

President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Monday paid glowing tributes to Havaldar Lalak Jan Shaheed on his martyrdom anniversary for his heroic sacrifice and bravery.

“The blood of martyrs is guarantee of a secure, strong and dignified future for Pakistan,” President Zardari said in a statement. The rich traditions of martyrs are a proud part of our national character. The determination and patriotism of Havaldar Lalak Jan Shaheed is a torch of guidance for future generations.Havaldar Lalak Jan Shaheed showed unmatched courage, fortitude and sense of responsibility in defending the motherland, which is a bright example. The sacrifices of the martyrs are the solid basis of Pakistan’s security, sovereignty and national pride.

“Martyrs’ great sacrifices will always be honoured, respected and make nation proud,” he added.

Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif in his message said Havaldar Lalak Jan Shaheed Nishan-e-Haider without caring for his own life destroyed the evil schemes of the enemy and gave ultimate sacrifice for the motherland. “The enemy attacks could not weaken the resolve of Havaldar Lalak Jan Shaheed,” he continued.

The Prime Minister added that the bravery, courage and undying sense of duty displayed by Havaldar Lalak Jan Shaheed was an amazing example for the younger generation.

He further said that the sacrifices of martyrs of the Pakistani country could never be forgotten. He said that the martyrs of Pakistan Armed Forces and their families are a pride for the whole nation including him for protecting the homeland.
