Protest only way to get founder released: Barrister Gohar
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Barrister Gohar Khan stated the party has no option but to protest and announced that it will organize a lengthy march on October 4.
PTI is a peaceful political party and will use its constitutional and legal rights while protesting, said Barrister Gohar.
“The party is not coming to create a mess in Islamabad,” he said. PTI’s demands include the proper care and release of its founder Imran Khan.
PTI Secretary General Salman Akram Raja said he was unaware of any talks between the party and administration.
“To my knowledge, there is no back channel in place,” he stated.
PTI’s founder Imran Khan has delegated Mahmood Achakzai and Allama Raja Nasir Abbas to negotiate on his behalf, said Salman Akram Raja.
