PSX closes week on mixed note as KSE-100 drops 119 points

The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) concluded the outgoing business week on a negative note with the benchmark KSE-100 Index losing 119 points to end at 170,765.

The benchmark index was volatile during the week and moved in a range of 2,871 points. It climbed to a weekly high of 172,762 points and fell to a low of 169,890 points.

The whole market capitalisation decreased by Rs41 billion to Rs18,996 billion over the week.

The benchmark KSE-100 Index of the stock market traded in positive and negative territory during the week before closing slightly lower.
