PTI receives provisional approval for rally in Islamabad

According to the information, PTI’s request for approval to hold a rally in Islamabad was heard by Chief Justice IHC Aamer Farooq.

The district administration was ordered by the Court to let Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) stage a rally in Islamabad on March 30.

The Chief Justice of the of the IHC directed that only the ordinary Terms of Reference (TOR) be followed and that no exceptional conditions be imposed.



Earlier, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) was denied permission to organize a protest in the nation’s capital on March 30 by the deputy commissioner of Islamabad.

The district administration denied PTI’s request, stating that “rallying is not permitted at any location, including D Chowk, due to the state of law and order.”

It is important to note that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) declared that they would stage a protest against suspected election tampering on March 30 in Islamabad.

In a statement released following the PTI core committee meeting, the committee stressed the need for increased efforts to restore the party electoral symbol and to pursue legal action to reopen the party office. The committee also expressed concern about the loss of the bat symbol and the closure of its Lahore office.
