The candidates running for Senate have been declared by Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI).
Following consultation with the party leadership, Aslam Iqbal, a prominent official in the PTI, revealed the identities of the Punjabi candidates running for office.
Senior attorney Hamid Khan and Zulfi Bukhari would run on the PTI platform for the general Senate seats, according to party officials. On general seats, PTI’s covering candidate would be Col. Ijaz Mihas General.
Brig (R) Musaddiq, a former advisor on accountability, has been nominated by PTI for the technocrat position.
Dr. Yasmeen Rashid would run for a reserved women’s seat in the Senate in the meantime.
